Eye Physicians & Surgeons’ owner, Dr. Chris Watts, attended medical school at the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed his residency in eye surgery at the University of Iowa. Eye Physicians & Surgeons’ Iowa City office welcomed Dr. Watts shortly after he left the University of Iowa in 2012.

Under Dr. Watts’ direction, Eye Physicians & Surgeons remains an area leader in eye care and surgery. He extended patient access to ophthalmic care through the practice’s 2017 expansion to Mt. Pleasant. He proudly leads both the Iowa City and Mt. Pleasant offices.
