JOINED EYE PHYSICIANS AND SURGEONS IN 2016

Dr. Sean O’Neill has been practicing in the Iowa City area since 2002. He is a current member of the American Optometric Association, and the Iowa Optometric Association. Dr O’Neill is dedicated to helping patients achieve their best vision and ocular health. He specializes in contact lenses- soft, RGP, multifocal, and scleral lenses. In addition to contact lenses, Dr. O’Neill treats ocular disease, pediatrics, and does pre and post-operative evaluations.

Dr O’Neill grew up in West Branch, and went on to receive his undergraduate degree in biology from Wartburg College. While at Wartburg, Dr. O’Neill played football and rugby while studying pre-optometry.  In 2002, he received his optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. He enjoys helping each patient find their best vision correction for all of their visual needs.

Dr. O’Neill and his wife Shannon have three children (Cael, Meghan and Drew) together. He enjoys coaching, cycling, camping, Hawkeye football, and spending time with his family.
