Eye Physicians & Surgeons’ owner, Dr. Chris Watts, completed his undergraduate work and played basketball in the state of Montana.  He attended medical school at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, graduating in 2009. Dr. Watts completed his residency in eye surgery at the University of Iowa.

Eye Physicians & Surgeons welcomed Dr. Watts shortly after he left the University of Iowa in 2012. Since becoming partner of the practice in 2014, he has led the clinic to success as an area leader in eye care and surgery, expanded patients’ access to ophthalmic care through the 2017 addition of our Mt. Pleasant clinic, and brought many new doctors and services to the region.

With his wife, Dacia, Dr. Watts enjoys spending time with his family and their four children —Anelise, Luke, Sam, and Madeline —on their farm in Solon.
